Dr. Cherok is excellent. Her method uses low-force adjustments that cause no bone-popping discomfort or risk. She is a skilled healer and an expert chiropractor who cares very much about the health and welfare of her patients. I recommend her highly.
I have had serious, chronic pain in my lower back and neck. The pain caused me to miss work, it limited my activities, it sapped my energy, and it made it hard for me to concentrate. Consequently, for fifteen years, to control the pain, I took various non-steroid anti-inflammatory (NSAID) drugs every day. When one stopped working or started upsetting my stomach, I switched to another. The list of drugs includes aspirin, ibuprofen, acetaminophen, Indocin, Voltarin, sulfasalazine, Daypro, Vioxx, and Celebrex.
I have moderate-to-severe arthritis in my spine and several old post-traumatic fractures in my lower back, including a grade-2 spondyloysthesis. Unfortunately, the rheumatologists I saw (at least four of them) paid no attention whatsoever to those problems in their diagnoses. Dr. Cherok immediately identified these conditions to be the cause of my problems.
Much to my surprise, Dr. Cherok’s treatment not only helps with the pain, but it also helps my allergies. I have had bad allergies since I was a child: red, itchy eyes, runny nose, and sneezing and have needed to take medication daily in order to be comfortable. Since I began seeing Dr. Cherok, the symptoms have much improved. Now only rarely do I use nose spray, eye drops, or take antihistamines.
As a result of Dr. Cherok’s treatment and advice (and my own efforts in following her advice), I now have much less back pain and allergy discomfort than I have ever had since my problems started. Furthermore, my energy and concentration have returned, and I have been able to stop taking those NSAID drugs. Now I don’t have to risk stomach ulcers or damage to my kidneys or liver. This is something I had dreamed of but never actually hoped for. Thank you, Dr. Cherok!
